My nights are getting longer and sleep shorter, just can't keep myself from surfing the net.

While reading an article on Tech crunch I accidentally stopped across a article on goovy.com and found this cool new email site totally made in flash.

It has the sleekest email interface I have seen, with fast loading emails, contacts, calendar, notes etc, It has a similar look and feel to that of a windows desktop and some nice graphics.

They are also coming up with few more cool stuff like having a integrated IM within their site
and also a File storage platform to store and share files.

The instant messaging client will work with MSN, AIM, Yahoo, ICQ and any Jabber Client in addition
to Goowy's own messaging networks.

There are quite a few sites offering web-based integrated IM like google which offers GTalk in Gmail
interface, another nice one I have seen is meebo.com, which also provides users with a web based
chatting interface.

For the file sharing utility Goowy has integrated with Box.net's API to allow users to upload and store
files with the Goowy service. The initial upload limit will be 5MB which way too small compared to today's
standards, but they are also offering free space of 1 GB to users.

The files that are uploaded can be shared between friends and also the general public too, this is almost
similar to the services provided by sites like yahoo (Briefcase) for online file storage and sharing.

Also there is some good news for music lovers, they are also integrating a flash media player to directly
play music files directly on Goowy.

They are also offering premium accounts to paid users where they can avial of more space and also the limit
on the file size is slashed and they can upload any size files/

All in all it seems good and is worth being used.
