13 Apr 2006Well here I am again with some more Google things for you. Damn I don't want to get sterotype but I really thought you should know this.
There are two of Google's recently released services that I am not able to use on IE7, I raised a bug for one with Google and they responded that they are still working on it. The first one is the Google Toolbar beta 4 which i had reviewed earlier, though Google says that its still not ready for IE7, i have added some screenshots for you to see what it looks like.
The from them that I was waiting for Google Calendar which i had first talked about with their Codename CL2 is still not ready for IE7, well I did not see it in IE7 since the time I wrote the release article earlier I was on Firefox 3 Deer Park Alpha Version.
Here is their list on fully supported browsers
Fully supported browsers:
– Microsoft IE 6.0+ (download: Windows)
– Mozilla Firefox 1.07+ (download: Windows Mac Linux)
What I don't understand is if they support Firefox 3 Alpha why they don't support IE7 after so much delay and private beta testing they should have released it altogether, I dunno whether I am the only person facing this, but anyone else using IE7 can please confirm whether I am right or wrong. I am going to raised this as a bug with Google people lets see what they say. And I am sure to get an update on this as I know they respond to all their mails unlike some other companies.
Here are some of the screen shots btw

Let me know if anyone else is seeing this problem too

The Mac default browser, Safari isn’t being supported either. Neither is Opera and now you’re saying IE7. I use Flock(.com) and it works fine here. Basically Google is supporting an old clunky browser (IE6) and Firefox and its brethern (Flock, Camino, Mozilla, Seamonkey). Interesting…

Yes simran seems like it supports the Alpha version of Firefox 3, the one I have reviewed earlier but not IE7.
I am not sure about Opera as i dont use it, but yes it’s not supported and Google clearly mentions that though.
