After six long months, we had a twype today, a Skype conference with people who you know on twitter, and it was really awesome, Ashish (@ashishmohta) tweeted about having a twype going on and I jumped in and asked if Sathya (@sahtyabhat) wanted to join, in quickly enough @djharsh tweeted about it and we got started out.

Slowly people started coming in and we finally had a awesome bunch of people, here are the people who were in the conference and their twitter ids in no particular order.

Well that’s the list there, 12 of us had the most awesome time discussing things and laughing to no ends, jokes were flying out from everyone and damn that’s the most I have laughed in quite a long time.

We discussed lot of things and eventually ran out of topics, the things that we discussed was facebook’s vanity url, monetizing blogs, databases and the impact Oracle’s taking over MySQL would have, WordPress and postreSQL, operating systems, mobile phones, web browsers, experiences we have with making other people use something we like, piracy in softwares in India, some wifi (wife’s LOL, that was too funny), taking people in another funny conversation, backward or forward compatibility with symbian phones, why apple sucks and much much more.

Overall we spend more than 3 and 1/2 hours discussing things and laughing our asses out, we bitched about a lot of things we normally do, but we had fun at it too, overall a very healthy and funny discussion, we are planning to have something like this every week or so .

• Ashwin talking about my recent profile picture changes, LOL i let the love our of my life.
• Shivaranjan’s slip on wifi which ended up as my Friend’s wife which we LOLed a lot about.
• Ashwin and Daaku’s jugal bandhi.
• Prashant’s humor.
• Sathya’s awkward silence.
• Manan’s candid views.
• Harshad’s request for no non-veg talk because Keshav was there.
• Ashish’s jokes at the right time.
• Ashwin using Opera for porn
• We getting serious and talking about several important things.
• Bitching about things.
• Explaining stuff to others
• Shivaranjan’s taking people in…. LOL was funny at the end.
• How we botched up in recording the entire conference.

Wohooooo tons and tons of more things we discussed and laughed about, but yes it was so nice to get back with a bunch of people who are like you and know how to have fun, am seriously looking forward to the new Twype now, will twitter about details and more later.
