IE7 crahses vs Firefox recovery

I have been using IE7 for 4 months now and Firefox for almost more than a year, both are almost same with the tabbed browsing, though firefox has more reach with more Open source developers who develop more plugins for Firefox than IE has.

Well though i didn't start this for comparision between IE and Firefox.

I guess many of the users who have been using both IE7 and FF know that tabbed browsing is a boon to stay compact with space and also with having more windows open in the same instance.

Now the dreaded fact suppose you are browsing 10 sites at once on either IE7 or FF and the browser crashes for some reason, believe me its a pain as both don't store the information you have been browsing in the history when a crash happens, very big pain for me it has happened a lot with IE and FF at times too, i have had to think over and remember the sites i had been surfing all the time.

With firefox i got a cool plugin called crash recovery which on FF crashes recovers all the sites on restart, though i have had crashes with FF quite frequently, i know the more the plugins i install the more background scripts start to run and believe not me all plugins are good for FF as you may start to have crashes which you may never be able to debug.

Here is a couple of plugins i advice to avoid FoxyTunes and PDF plugins believe me they eat too much of your memory and i have to uninstall them because they take your system for granted.

About foxy tunes I have faced this problem where i used to run foxy with Media Player and i used to see a heavy load on my cpu usage most of the time even though i closed the application of media player, but even if i did the foxy tunes never closed that and tried pinging it all the time, which in turn lead to lot of memory break for me.

Second is adobe whose auto update keeps on running with firefox even when i clearly explicitly instructed the app to stop all updates with out my information, well in past 4 days i have had crashes on my FF bcos of this and i am seriously un installing the adboe software but i disabled the adobe software in FF i still don't undestand why it still keeps on updating.

Coming to IE7 its still not perfect, i never use it to surf session based sites, i.e sites that asks for login's as it has way too many crashes with no recovery mode and i don't like breaking mu surfing session on one of the instances in any of the tabs to crash 10 sites at once.

Are you listening microsoft, like windows IE7 still does not have a crash recovery mechanism, if you picked the tabbed pane from FF atleast get the recovery mechanism in it too.
