I have never shied anyone away when they have come to me for help, and I am not going to create a list of people I have helped, it is not like me to make big my achievements or help.

That said I do not expect anything in return for giving advice on topics that I am familiar with and neither do I exploit anyone’s problems for my own gains, but there is a limit to being good and helpful and there is certainly a line you should draw while expecting people to offer you help.

I had a certain incident that upset me and hurt me a lot, not because “I was not gaining something out of it” but because someone was asking me for help when it was going to benefit someone else.

Let me put it in simple words, you come to me for advice for something you are going to buy, and I say “Hey, I have this thing you can use” but you tell me that “No, I am already committed to someone else on getting it from him, just need some advice from you about it”.

Now you want me to advice you on something that you are already committed to getting from someone else then why come to me for help. And giving the excuse that the other person is busy right now and can’t answer your questions, openly tells me that I am douche bag you have taken for granted, to answer your questions anytime you want. My time is of no value since the person you have committed to does not have time to help you, dump you bloody questions on me.

Now before your draw your conclusions, I am not upset and hurt because this guy was not buying from me, I never wanted to sell anything to him in the first place. I only suggested that if you are looking for something I have something you can use.

What really pissed me off is the fact that he told me he was buying it from someone else, and wanted me to advice him on how to do it, what am I a after sales service guy for product you buy from someone else.

Frankly, I have helped this guy many times and I have not asked for anything in return, the only problem I have is, that if you are going to help someone else benefit then why not go and ask the said person about it, what am I a free resource for dumping questions anytime you want.

That said I will not stop helping people as it is not in my nature to let a freak ruin the experience for many people, just so you should know, that please don’t come to me for help when you are helping someone else benefit, let your fucking server crash or your site be hacked, my doors are closed on such requests, go to the person who helped you get the stuff in the first place.

If you need unbiased help I am here anytime and will never turn you away, just don’t think of me of a douche bag who you can take for granted.
