Microsoft has announced that Windows Vista the latest OS from them will have the default browser as IE7+ and not IE7.
This is to differentiate between the Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP and that for Windows Vista. I had earlier also written about the WIndows Media Player 11 which was launched by Microsoft for Windows XP, Windows Media Player will also have a different name for the Windows Vista operating system.
With this Microsoft seems to go the Vista way as they will be adding more features to IE7+ as they are for Windows Media Player for Windows Vista.
IE7+ will have additional inbuilt features such as Protected Mode, Parental control and improved Network diagonistics.
Microsoft has already released the version of Windows Vista 2 beta at their WinHEC showing.
