I have been a regular visitor of lots of blogs and at times been a newbie to some, though I use adsense and other ad selling units myself, I do not obsturicate user's from reading my content, likewise you will be in for a big surprise when you see the new template i will launch this weekend.

Well getting to the topic, having visited n ( = infinite ) number of blogs to read content I am always disappointed to read ads when i click on a content, what i mean is that people post ads on top of their content's and almost cover the full screen of my PC and i use a 1280 resolution window.

So where do i read the content in the ads, selling ads don't make you rich if you place in the wrong place, what I do with such kind of sites is find the close this window sign and leave it.

 

I am not against people selling ads, what I am against is the placement of them, well tutorials may suggest that place ads in on top of the content, but that does not always help as you tend to lose readers who would like to read content.

Placing ads in between content is fine as its not obstructive to the user, but you have to make sure of the height and width of the ads too.

All in all I just put the sites on my ban list as i would rather read content than read ads.
